Buffing with compound is a process of an abrasive product applied with a machine either Rotary or DA for the purposes of repairing the gel coat and removing blemishes such as Oxidation, scratches and much more.

Ceramic Coating is one of the most advanced forms of protection on the market, this typically requires less maintenance and depending on the professional grade products used can last anywhere from 3+ years versus a wax of 4-6 months based on conditions. The price reflects the difference in capability however is well worth the difference in cost to protect your investment.
Paint Corrections
Paint Corrections are a combination of the use of either Compound or Polish to remove defects in the paint whether it be (gel coat, fiberglass or paint) this is a highly advanced skill set that is developed with a mastery of a machine that uses said abrasives to correct & refine the paint. The detailer will advise on the necessary methods to remove the defects desired. Keep in mind paint corrections are only correcting the paint so this service should be paired with a form of protection whether it be a sealant, wax, or ceramic coating.
